In this series I have used the figure in an emblematic way to evoke feelings of peace, joy, optimism and reflection.  By employing bright, pure colours I try to create timeless images from transient states of being, and in compositons reduced to essentials.   I feel I can convey my thoughts on the human conditon as the new Millennium approaches.
