These are my portraits paintings done at the London Sketch Club in 2025 for a 3 hours pose, some further worked on at home. I broke my right wrist early May which was very painful both mentally and physically. After the operation of inserting a metal plate in my wrist I was very frustrated, I started drawing with my left hand which was very interesting and encouraged. By August I went back to the London Sketch Club to draw and paint, hence producing these works. My wrist is not perfect which still gives me pain but I am glad I can go back to my painting and exploring the delicate matter between a realistic portrait and one with emotion…Homepage
