“Linda’s multicultural upbringing is apparent in her art.  Boin in China, educated in Hong Kong and trained in Western Art, she sees the world from a unique point of view.  Her travels have taken her all over Asia and her works reflect the profound impact these experiences have had on her.

She is an acute observer of all aspects of life. Landscapes and street scenes are treated wtih equal affection.  The rich, vivid colours she employs are a response to the beauty she sees in her surroundings.

For many of us, the real Hong Kong emerges not so much from its iconic skyline but in the more human scale sights, smells, sounds and experiences that together create its personality.  Linda hs captured these details with a passion that practically jumps off the canvas – something viewers will notice in her depictions of teahouses, rices shops and even a local youth orchestra.  She took a similar human scale approach to her subject matter in Bhutan, Japan and Mainland China.”
